The Division of Toxicology offers both 2 and 4-week rotations for medical students at USC as well as non-USC students. The structure of the rotation includes a combination of clinical and didactic learnings with readings, small-group discussions, inpatient consultations, and home call. During the rotation, students will be responsible for daily rounds on patients with residents, fellows, and attendings, participating in toxicology journal club and division meetings, and attending weekly Emergency Medicine Residency grand rounds. Each student will also be required to prepare a short presentation on a toxicology topic of their choice. For more information regarding medical student rotations, please contact Dr. Elissa Moore ([email protected]).
The Division also welcomes current residents in an ACGME approved residency program outside of USC to complete an away rotation in medical toxicology. For more information, please contact Dr. Michael Levine ([email protected]).
