The USC + LAFD EMS fellowship is a 1 year fully accredited ACGME program. It gives you the opportunity to work with:

- Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), the 2nd largest EMS provider agency in the United States
- LAFD Dispatch Center

- Operations with LAFD
- Ride-alongs
- Dispatch Center quality improvement
- Tactical EMS (TEMS) Training
- Exposure to USART, HAZMAT and HERT
- Participation in large event planning and execution
- Administration and Teaching
- Base Station Tape Review
- EMS resident rotation education and guidance
- Emergency Department Grand Rounds
- ACGME/ABEM requirements
- Core curriculum
- Research project
- Emergency Medicine board certification
- Emergency Department clinical shifts
